The AutoText feature in Word and Outlook is a great way to save time when you type.
AutoText is a list of predefined text items that can be inserted into your document by pressing a single key or selecting the item from a menu. You can create your own AutoText entries or use the ones that come with Word or Outlook.
To create an AutoText entry:
In the New Document window, click AutoText. The AutoText Gallery dialog box appears.
In the Gallery list, select a category such as Common Abbreviations, Common Words, or Names and Addresses.
In the list of items in the selected category, click an item to display its shortcut key in the Shortcut Key box next to it. To add more than one item to your AutoText gallery at once, hold down CTRL while you select them in this list. Then click OK to exit the Gallery dialog box and return to Normal view.
